Foreign worker integration
Step 4 in International Recruitment: Welcoming a Foreign Worker
The international recruitment process isn’t over just because you’ve made the right choice. Setting up everything you need to successfully host a foreign worker is a crucial step in making it easier for the new employee to adapt to their surroundings. We work with local organizations prior to their arrival to ensure that the new members of your team are able to succeed and stay with you over time.

Here’s what we do to welcome foreign workers:
- Work closely with a local organization that specializes in welcoming immigrants;
- Analyze the worker’s needs and prepare them for their arrival in Canada;
- Undertake administrative procedures: social insurance number (SIN), health insurance (RAMQ), driver’s licence, registration and various forms, etc.
- Possibly work with an interpreter for key information during the first few days on the job;
- Visit grocery stores, places of worship and tour their new environment to familiarize them with their new surroundings.
